The NJSIAA All-State Fencing Team has been selected! We are thrilled to announce our Voorhees Vikings who have been selected as among the best fencers in New Jersey. Congratulations Noah, Aly, Jayan & John!

1. Donation Pledge/Matching Gift Donation:
This is still ongoing with a soon to be determined date of when this amazing opportunity will be over. Our anonymous generous donor is willing to match up to $1,975 dollar for dollar for any donation made. Imagine if we can make it up to the full amount! So many wish-list items can be taken care of. Tonight is the banquet starting at 6:30pm sharp. RSVP’s are now closed. Please arrive a little early to find a seat, check in and pay if needed. Also consider that we still have our Donation match going on. This can be done from no matter where you are.

We are also excited to share a special opportunity to further strengthen our fencing program.

These matched funds will go directly toward items on our coaches’ wishlist, including:

A new scoring unit that will enhance both competition performance and daily training

Higher-quality body cords that we are unable to purchase through the school due to vendor and purchasing limitations

An equipment testing apparatus to ensure our gear is safe and competition-ready

Potentially a third metal strip to help expedite meets and improve event flow

End of year Fencing Banquet RSVP due PLEASE!
Even though RSVP’s were due 3/6, we were given a grace period. Please RSVP no later than tomorrow. Remember the total number attending, should include current fencer on the team (if applicable). Alumni welcome. 50 years of fencing! Wow!

Reminder tomorrow, Sunday 3/8/26, is our team event at Branchburg Sports Center. Try and arrive by 4:45pm so laser tag can begin at 5. Laser tag 5-6pm followed by pizza (& muffins) after that. All fencers sponsored by the booster club.
Let’s celebrate our great season in a fun way before next week’s banquet and congratulate our 7 teammates who also competed at States today!
