Upcoming in-person, small-group workshop on Government Contracting 101: Saturday, October 24 8 am - 12 pm in Newburg, MD.

Taught by the author of Start, Manage & Exit A Profitable Government Contracting Firm, we will cover topics including:

* Government Acquisition Lifecyle
* Finding Opportunities and Deciding which to bid
* Proposal Development
* Rate Development, and
*Maximizing Profit

The class will be limited to no more than 7 participants and you are encouraged to bring your laptop so you can create and refine spreadsheets and tools that will be used for your individual business.

The class will include a signed copy of the book.

Ravens Crest, our historic home on the Potomac River, is opening soon for the season. Some exciting events to start the year. First up is a Beagling with the Hills Bridge Beagles. Shortly after we will be the location of a Weekend of Wellness that includes a foraging workshop and creating a herbal home pharmacy. I have a very limited number of spots in a communication workshop to be held this Friday for people in their 20's. It will focus on understanding your communication style, how to work with other communication styles, integrating into conversations, and general networking.
