St. Anthony 8th graders did a fantastic job presenting to parents this morning on the history and psychology behind AI, how algorithms influence behavior, and tips for building healthy digital habits!
Their preparation and insight were very impressive. A job well done to the class of 2026! 🎉

Congratulations to 8th graders Paige Wright and Princess Kennedy of St. Francis Xavier for their outstanding achievements in the Junior League of Washington 27th Annual Youth Poetry Contest!
Paige Wright tied for first place for her poem “Imagine in the Streets of D.C.” and also received a superlative award for poetic elements and organization.
Princess Kennedy tied for second place for her poem “Dreams vs. Reality,” which also earned a superlative award for theme.
A special awards ceremony was held this past Saturday at Planet Word Museum to celebrate the students and their accomplishments!
The CCA is incredibly proud of Paige, Princess, and all of the SFX students who participated in the contest. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!
