Good Secret Horsemanship

If only you could feel the amount of teenage angst in this photo 😂
These girls worked their butts off in the heat today. Seriously. The amount of try behind every one of these riders is only seconded by the try their horses gave them.
There were too many ribbons, too many placings, too many steps forward for all of them today that I couldn't even track it all. 😅
I just hope their families know how much I appreciate the opportunities to coach them!
We definitely make a dent when we arrive at these shows🥰💪
If their families have any photos to post in the comments feel free, because I didn't get any pictures today🤦‍♀️🫣

✨️ Lot #156 in the Midwest draft cross and Quarter horse sale TODAY!!✨️
💥"Jitter"💥
Feel free to share!

2017 AQHA Grey gelding. Head horse and ranch horse. I've roped on this gelding in anything from 7's to 10.5's, he's the same everytime. I really think a higher number roper than myself would make a killing on this horse.
I've hauled and won on him all around Missouri and Kansas, plus Colorado, Texas, and Oklahoma.

I use him at the sale in Osborne every week, he will drag a half dead mean cow, carry your calves, and ignore your bull.

He is sound, goofy, and kind of a quirky dude sometimes; but he will show up for me every single day, on every single steer with 110% effort.

He will be in the Jamesport Midwest Draft cross and Quarter Horse sale at Timberline Arena August 27th and 28th.

If anyone has any questions feel free to call Randy Lykins 816-632-2264. For any videos feel free to reach out to me anytime!

A fun day at Platte County!

✅️ Palmer's first horse show, she and Izzy won her $15 back (at the expense of my nerves) 🙃

✅️ Mattie's first horse show; Talon got 4th in Poles his first time doing them! They both did great staying focused! 💪

✅️ Jae and Kira's first horse show, they won 2nd in their first barrel pattern! Jae's training Kira everything she knows on the pattern ✨️

✅️Rori had a great barrel pattern, winning the 13-18 barrels! 💕

Not my best roping, but Jitter bug and I still picked up some dollars in the beautiful weather at our favorite round Robin last night! Thank you Legacy ranch!
I'm going to continue hauling this horse until he sells in Jamesport Aug 27-28th!

✨️Also, one of my lesson students, who won a 3D buckle in barrels earlier this year, had a successful show in plattsburg last night. Bringing home another 1st in barrels! So proud of Rori and how hard she works on her horses!✨️

I will have some lesson openings coming up Monday and Thursday evenings if anyone knows someone looking to better their horsemanship!
Prefer competitive riders, or riders serious enough to show up every week to get better horsemanship. I focus a lot on novice riders, riders with anxiety, or specific problems with their horse.

I do have lesson horses available. My lesson program is private lessons only, as we do not have boarders. My program is small with a relaxed feel, but we are mighty in the arena.

Feel free to message me about available dates and times, or share the post with a friend!
We are located in Holt, MO.
All are welcome to visit my page for references and experience.

🏆Team "Isabella" cleaned up at their 4H county fair last week! 🥰

🥇11 year old Bella and the infamous mare "Izzy" won the 'triple crown' with highest average in games (racing events), English, and western riding. If you don't know Izzy's story, she's a mare I raised from a weanling 17 years ago, and have won quite a lot on over the years. She's now a lesson horse to my students (such at Bella).

🐴We're so blessed to be having such a good year; I'm very grateful to all my clients for allowing me to show the versatile horses I've made, and the knowledge in horsemanship I can teach to these wonderful students!

💪It was fun coaching, and seeing some familiar faces, I'm so proud of both Isabella's! They've been hard at it for months!

✍️I will have some lesson openings coming up. If you have a child who's serious about horses, send me a message!
If you have a show horse you need rode, a c**t you want started, or a performance horse that needs hauled, feel free to reach out!
