The wellbeing of our FHCS families is our utmost priority, which is why we want to communicate what you can expect should we need to cancel school:

❄ By 5:00 AM: Mr. Zimmerman will review and carefully consider local weather reports.

❄ By 6:00 AM: If closing school is necessary, an urgent Remind message will be sent to all families containing the cancellation information for Flint Hills Christian School. Sending a Remind message marked as urgent means the app will override any settings on phones to ensure the message is received.

❄ By 6:15 AM: Local media outlets will be informed of our cancellation.

Please note that we do not base our decision to cancel school on the decisions of other organizations such as the public school district or K-State.

Congratulations to Ava and Cheyenne for making the all-tournament team for the end-of-the-year state tournament in Volleyball. A great way to cap off the season! 🎉

This weekend, our highschool varsity volleyball team took second in the KSHAA Approved Schools State Tournament. The girls battled hard and won every pool play games against Faith Baptist School, Liberty Homeschool Alliance, and Newton Homeschool. Ranked first in their pool, they entered bracket play against Ark City Christian Academy. The girls rallied to win 3-2 in five sets, sending them to the championship on Saturday. The team battled hard but fell in 3 sets.

We can't believe that the season is coming to an end, but we are determined to finish strong. The Volleyball team has the KASC Tournament on Friday/Saturday, while the Cross Country Championship will take place on Saturday. Let's give it our all one last time, Warriors!

The junior high A team battled hard on Saturday and got 4th place in their end of year tournament. Congratulations to eighth grader Kiaria Choma for being named to the all-tournament team.
