Ole Miss Pi Kappa Phi

Ole Miss Pi Kappa Phi Pi Kappa Phi was founded on the premise of creating leadership opportunities for our members. Those three men chose to start their own fraternity.

Our founders exemplified leadership in the classroom, on the athletic field, in campus politics and within the community. On a quiet December evening in 1904 in Charleston, S.C., three friends—Andrew Kroeg, Simon Fogarty and Harry Mixson—made a choice to lead. The three grew to seven; seven grew to eight; eight grew to 11. From the College of Charleston, they spread to nearby Presbyterian in 1907—

and then to California in 1909. In just over four years, Pi Kappa Phi had become a truly national fraternity. Over the course of a century, a fraternity with humble beginnings has grown into a brotherhood of more than 120,000 strong. Pi Kappa Phi was rechartered at the University of Mississippi in 2014, returning after dissolving over seventy years earlier.

Congratulations to Nathan Won on completing the Journey of Hope TransAmerica Route — 67 days, Seattle to Washington, D.C.

What began as a cross-country ride became a journey of purpose, friendship, and growth. Through every high and low, Nathan’s faith and determination carried him forward, alongside a team and community that made the journey unforgettable. He set out hoping to make an impact — and returns having been impacted just as much.
