This six-week comprehensive prototyping program, offered by the Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation at UC Berkeley’s College of Engineering, is the perfect way to dig deeper into design methodologies and prototyping skills. The program runs July 3–August 11, 2023.

Four fantastic alumni Alix Carson, Lace Co Ting Keh, Antonia Bronars and Zachary Hayes are joining us this coming Wednesday, February 8th for a Design Career Conversation on MechE + Design Career Pathways.
These four graduates are now four years into impressive engineering careers. We’ll hear lessons learned from their experience entering the workforce, some retrospection on how their time in the Jacobs Hall shaped their pursuits, as well as how shows up in their current day to day work as . There will be plenty of time for open Q&A, so bring your questions!

Join us on Thursday to listen to Benjamin Pawle talk about "Make Stuff, Not Assumptions."
Ben is a product and interaction designer. He co-founded Nord Projects – a design invention studio in east London – where he spends his time crafting new products, prototypes and speculative perspectives on the future of computing and AI.
This series will be held virtually for the Spring 2023 semester. Each talk is free an open to all students and members of the public. A zoom account is required for login and access to this series, please find link in bio under “Design Field Notes” to get to the zoom session.
