STARRING THE STEEL BRIDGE TEAM @ THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS at EL PASO

What a year, what a team, what an experience! 💙💛 Our Steel Bridge Team is so proud of everything we accomplished at Nationals and all the hard work, dedication, and teamwork that brought us there. To celebrate it all, here are some highlights:

Our build team crushed it with a new PR of 10 minutes and 43 seconds⏱️🔥.
We were able to secure 19th place out of 44 teams in construction speed and 15th overall in economy! Every late night in the shop, every design change, and every challenge along the way was worth it.

A huge thank you to our incredible sponsors and supporters who made this season possible: DPR Construction, Computers & Structures Inc., Boeing, Albany Steel Inc., Fastenal, Seaport Stainless, Solidworks, and NanoLab Machine Shop. Your support helped us build more than just a bridge — it helped us build a stronger team, stronger skills, and unforgettable memories as steel bridge members. 🏗️💙

We’re beyond grateful for everyone who supported Cal Steel Bridge throughout this journey and can’t wait to continue building, innovating, and competing together next year! 🚀🐻

We are officially launching our Steel Bridge Summer Project! This is your chance to design and draft a custom 6’x3’x2’ from scratch.

Join us next Wednesday (June 24th) from 7-8 PM (PST) for our virtual Kick-Off Meeting! This is where we will go over the project in more detail and split into teams. Whether you are a seasoned member or just looking to learn, everyone is welcome. Keep a lookout in our Slack channel for the meeting link and more updates! 😆
