OK its official, I cut my cable, its been over a month now.
I had At&T Universe for over 2 years and when they raised my rates do to loss of bundle I called to have it reapplied. They said no Uvirse was not longer available in my neighborhood, and if I wanted a bundle I had to get direct TV, I told them to kiss my butt and for $399 got the TiVo Romia OTA DVR, 1 Terabyte and guide for the life of the device https://www.tivo.com/shop/ota-detail then had to try a few antennas until I got channel 2 CBS, but the Lava OmniPro HD-8008 ttp://www.lavasat.com/en/product_detail_93.htm gave me all the major networks in digital and some in HD for 80 channels total about $80. So for less then $500 I have more channels then I need, a DVR and Guide and am now saving over $120 each month that AT&T or Comcast will not be getting. I may consider NetFlix to grab a few extra movies but even with that I'll save over $1200 a year. Man I'm looking forward to what I can do with that extra cash.
