Tonight we celebrated all of our 2026 graduates at the 2nd annual EPCSE Hooding & Pinning Ceremony! All of our students received a special pin while our Masterโ€™s students were officially hooded with the their light blue (education) blue & white (for PSU) hoods. Our very own Shi Richardson (MEd) gave an incredible speech about the difference we can make as special education teachers- empowering our students to use their voices ๐Ÿฉต We love any opportunity to celebrate our phenomenal grads and canโ€™t wait to see them walk across the stage at graduation this weekend!

We had a kicking time celebrating our graduating seniors this week with a taco party. ๐ŸŒฎ But the highlight of the evening was the Cozad Kickball game: team Dexter vs. Team Kaleb. It was a close game but team Kaleb came back from a 11 run deficit to win the game! Lots of laughs and grass stains were had. We are grateful for a group who knows how to have fun! Leaders in the field! โ˜„๏ธ๐ŸŽ“

Happy Teacher Appreciation week 2026! ๐Ÿ’š This feels like a meaningful week given we are proudly adding 41 new special education teachers to the field this weekend! ๐ŸŽ This week we are grateful for the teachers who shaped us as young learners, those who told us we could and pushed us to do more, and those who guided us on our own journeys to become educators. ๐Ÿ“š Thank you doesnโ€™t even begin to cover all of the sacrifices, love, time, joy, and passion teachers pour into their students. You are our inspiration and why we continue to do what we do!

Caps off! ๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿ“„ Our Masterโ€™s students successfully presented their capstone and writing projects today! We are so very proud of their hard work- and it was an honor to see how much their students had grown due to the interventions they provided. Today marked their last official class as a masters student- and next weekend they will walk across that stage as official graduates!

Tonight our undergrad cohort finished their very last class here at PSU ๐Ÿฅน They presented on two different students that they worked with during student teaching and shared the incredible lessons they have learned throughout their program along the way. This sweet throwback picture was taken on their very first day- before they knew how close they would become as a cohort, how much work they would be putting in, and how much of a difference they were going to make. We are so unbelievably proud of them and are looking forward to celebrating them over the next few weeks and seeing them continue to make an impact as they begin their careers! ๐Ÿ’™

Some advice Kieran shared that felt so impactful to all of us- โ€œOur progress may not be the loudest or the most obvious, but the smallest wins are the best ones.โ€
