Tonight we celebrated all of our 2026 graduates at the 2nd annual EPCSE Hooding & Pinning Ceremony! All of our students received a special pin while our Masterโs students were officially hooded with the their light blue (education) blue & white (for PSU) hoods. Our very own Shi Richardson (MEd) gave an incredible speech about the difference we can make as special education teachers- empowering our students to use their voices ๐ฉต We love any opportunity to celebrate our phenomenal grads and canโt wait to see them walk across the stage at graduation this weekend!

We had a kicking time celebrating our graduating seniors this week with a taco party. ๐ฎ But the highlight of the evening was the Cozad Kickball game: team Dexter vs. Team Kaleb. It was a close game but team Kaleb came back from a 11 run deficit to win the game! Lots of laughs and grass stains were had. We are grateful for a group who knows how to have fun! Leaders in the field! โ๏ธ๐

Caps off! ๐๐ Our Masterโs students successfully presented their capstone and writing projects today! We are so very proud of their hard work- and it was an honor to see how much their students had grown due to the interventions they provided. Today marked their last official class as a masters student- and next weekend they will walk across that stage as official graduates!

Tonight our undergrad cohort finished their very last class here at PSU ๐ฅน They presented on two different students that they worked with during student teaching and shared the incredible lessons they have learned throughout their program along the way. This sweet throwback picture was taken on their very first day- before they knew how close they would become as a cohort, how much work they would be putting in, and how much of a difference they were going to make. We are so unbelievably proud of them and are looking forward to celebrating them over the next few weeks and seeing them continue to make an impact as they begin their careers! ๐
Some advice Kieran shared that felt so impactful to all of us- โOur progress may not be the loudest or the most obvious, but the smallest wins are the best ones.โ
