Friday night I had the honor of presenting Kate Robeson-Grubb with our Distinguished Alumni Award in Energy and Sustainability Policy.

Kate has gone on to a career in sustainability in local government as the Sustainability Specialist for Solebury Township where she's focused on supporting the implementation of their Energy Transition Plan to meet their Ready for 100 goals. Peter Buck and I were delighted to partner with Kate and Solebury in the Local Climate Action Program. Beyond LCAP, Kate has supported several ESP capstone projects as well. She is an excellent mentor to our students and a big part of the reason Solebury is a leader in local climate here in Pennsylvania.

Two other ESP.students received awards as well! Alison Bucher-Rubilar and Amanda Theodorson. And what do all three of these ladies have in common besides being awesome World Campus students? They're also all in LCAP!! So glad to see their hard work and passion recognized.

Are you Doylestown Borough's new sustainability coordinator? We partnered with Doylestown during our first LCAP a few years ago - they're doing exciting work in climate and clearly want to do more!

Congratulations ESP summer 2024 grads!

Joe and his partner, Sam flew in from southern California to celebrate Joe's graduation! They weren't here very long but we did all the most important things: the lion shrine, the Creamery, and of course, commencement.

Joe was a student in our first LCAP cohort, working with Doulestien Borough, do it was awesome for Peter and I to finally meet him in real life.

Louis DeCordova graduated in Fall 2023 (and was our College marshal!) but couldn't make it from Japan to University Park to walk in graduation. ESP's Brandi Robinson is in Japan right now and was able to meet up with Louis for the afternoon in Tokyo with her family. So much fun!

We decided to take a picture here since there's this miniature Statue of Liberty in the background. :-)
