Penn State Graduate Writing Center The Graduate Writing Center (GWC) provides professional tutoring services for writers across the disciplines, representing any level of English fluency.

The GWC is sponsored by the Pennsylvania State University Graduate School and the Department of English. Our professional tutors consult writers about a wide range of genres including seminar papers, excerpts from dissertation chapters, CVs, and letters of application. We also assist writers with oral presentations, multimedia design principles, social media content, reading comprehension, and gra

3/15/20 APPOINTMENT NOTICE: At this time ALL GWC writing appointments will be held online for the month of March. The GWC is acting in accordance with Penn State’s move to online platforms until April 6, 2020, or until further notice, as the public health situation continues to be monitored. It's the final countdown! We recommend you book a session to talk about your final papers as early as possible, since we'll be closed for most of exam week.

The GWC's final full week will be the last week of classes (April 21 to 27). Hours that week will be slightly reduced because our consultants will be offering Drop-In Sessions at International Write-In on April 24--please consider seeing us there!
