The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine report guiding the future of National Science Foundation (NSF) EAR research is out. Priority science questions central to GeoPRISMS including driven "research that recognizes connections between terrestrial and ocean environments ("crossing the shorelines") has the potential to advance many of the key research questions, from dynamics of Earth’s interior, to water and biogeochemical cycles, biodiversity, and climate (both paleoclimate and future climate questions), to reducing risks from earthquakes, eruptions, and tsunamis."
