Each year, Detachment 720 hosts the Penn Cup competition, a series of events and challenges between the detachments in Pennsylvania. This year, we hosted Det 730 (University of Pittsburgh), Det 752 (Wilkes University), and Det 750 (Saint Joseph’s University). Congrats Air Force ROTC Det 750 - SJU for being this years winner!

This morning, on the 25 year anniversary of 9/11, Air Force ROTC alongside Naval ROTC, Army ROTC, various PSU sports teams and fire companies climbed 110 flights of stairs in honor of those who lost their lives.
110 flights represent the 110 flights that first responders climbed to rescue people trapped inside.
Our cadets honored some of the fallen men and women by completing this with photos pinned to their backs, symbolizing that they will never be forgotten.
After 25 years, the memory of the 2,977 people who lost their lives is stronger than ever. We honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to save lives, and We Will Never Forget.
