If you’re a first-year student, here’s what upperclassmen want you to know before your first semester really gets going 👀

You’ll learn that…

✨ You don’t have to find your best friends in the first week.
✨ It’s okay to try a club, decide it’s not for you, and try something else.
✨ Asking for help sooner is almost always better than waiting until you’re overwhelmed.
✨ You’re allowed to change your mind about your major, your schedule, your friend group, or what you want your college experience to look like.
✨ You need to make time for things that have nothing to do with school.
✨ Everyone else is figuring it out, too.
✨ And somehow, eventually, this giant campus starts to feel a little smaller.

Your first semester is going to teach you a LOT. You don’t have to have it all figured out on day one. Swipe for some more advice and tips! 💙

This fall, Q***r Peers is bringing 2010s Tumblr energy to Penn State — with vintage-inspired vibes, creative activities, wellness, community, and a little bit of nostalgia along the way. Think Polaroids, DIY, internet aesthetics, friendship bracelets, curated chaos, and everything in between. Photo opportunities present at each event! 💿🖇️🌈

Q***r Peers is a program series designed specifically for first-year students and students who are new to the University Park campus. Whether you're brand new to Penn State, transferring in, or just looking for your people, this is a chance to meet new friends, build community, and find your place on campus. 💙

🏕️🌈 Camp Q***riosity: Closing Ceremony Get-Together 🌈🏕️

All good things must come to an end… and we're gathering one last time around the Camp Q***riosity campfire! ✨

Join us for a relaxed afternoon of reflection, snacks, a little television, and a lot of hanging out as we wrap up our summer together. We'll start with some journaling and reflection as we think about what we've learned, the connections we've made, and what we want to carry with us into the fall. 🌱

Then, build your own sweet & savory trail mix, settle in with your fellow campers, and enjoy a show together as we wind down our Camp Q***riosity adventure.

And, of course, no closing ceremony would be complete without some camp awards! 🏕️ We'll be handing out our final Camp Q***riosity patch/badge and a certificate of participation to celebrate everyone who joined us along the way.
