Penn State Law Law students take a required foundational curriculum in the first year, and, in the second and third year, may choose among law course electives.

Penn State Law is a student-centered school that provides a comprehensive law curriculum designed to provide the next generation of lawyers with the knowledge and skills they will need to solve increasingly complex and interdisciplinary problems. This past summer, the Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic assisted U.S. Navy and Vietnam veteran Lou Berrio with his leukemia-related Agent Orange VA claim. Through the financial donations made by the Clinic’s previous clients, the Clinic was able to help Berrio obtain an expert medical opinion and guide him and his daughter through the steps of filing the claim. Berrio’s story is made particularly urgent because of his need for a stem cell donor—a treatment option that could save his life. Read more: https://bit.ly/4fhKfyJ

Congrats to third-year students Jillian Kerr and Terrance Parham as they have secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the ABA Mergers and Acquisitions Negotiation Competition! They've made it through two rounds so far, competing against 64 teams, and next compete in late January 2025. proud of you!
