Please note: Chromebooks will not be collected at this time. All returning families are asked to hold on to their Chromebooks. Only students who are transferring out of our district should return their chromebooks.

Good Afternoon CMMS Families & Students,

Due to concerns over the potential spread of COVID-19, schools all across Illinois will be closed starting on Tuesday, March 17th. We know that this is a concerning time for all! Please know that our school community is working diligently to make sure that we continue to provide our students with a solid learning experience despite these extraordinary circumstances.

In an effort to help keep everything moving smoothly, here is what you need to know:

We do have school on Monday, March 16th! Students should make every effort to attend so that we can make sure that you have everything needed for the next few weeks of online instruction.

Monday, 3/16 is a Day 1.

Please make sure your child brings his/her charged chromebook to school so that staff can confirm that they are ready for E-Learning.

Students will not need their PE Uniform on Monday.

Breakfast & Lunch will be available.

Staff will be working with students to get lockers cleared out. All of their belongings will be taken home and lockers will be left open at the end of the day for cleaning.

There are NO after school activities or busses. All students will be going home at 2:45 p.m. If your child is a car rider, please make sure you are there for a 2:45 p.m. pickup.

More information will be emailed & posted about E-Learning for 6th-8th graders. I will be updating our grade level Google Classrooms daily with announcements. As we get more information, I will send emails and post information to Family & Student Access.

Attention CMMS Families: Due to concerns over this afternoon's predicted cold/icy conditions we have cancelled all afternoon activities today, 2/13/2020.

Games will be rescheduled. Please look for more information from our coaches about new game dates.
