Claire for SMU My name is Claire Hermeling, and I want to represent you as the 2017-2018 SMU Student Body President. Voting April 5th and 6th at smu.edu/elections

I'm running for president because I want to help make an SMU that is secure, connected and united. These three initiatives form the basis of what I want to accomplish and I look forward sharing more about this with you in the coming days. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to serve SMU in a variety of leadership positions. I’ve had the honor of serving as a Student Senator, Senate Communic

ations Chair, and as an RA in Kathy Crow Commons. These roles have allowed me to meet all types of SMU students and have left me uniquely qualified to serve you as student body president. My platform consists of realistic goals that I will be able to achieve in my time as president. I’m also excited to hear what issues are important to the everyday student. My priority as president is to represent you, and by voting for my you can assure that your voice will be heard.
