On Friday, ISS welcomed Matteo Lupo to campus. Matteo is Principal at Interglobo, an international supply chain logistics company that ships Italian products around the world. Matteo joined students in ISS alongside other cultural and business clubs to discuss how linguistic skills and cultural intelligence lead to success in business. Thank you for joining us, Matteo, and we look forward to welcoming you back to campus soon!

Andrea is also hosting a speech on Tuesday, April 14 regarding the Winter Olympics in Milan. Join Andrea and some organizers of the Games to learn how the Olympics impacted Italian culture. You can RSVP for in person or virtual. This is a great opportunity for everyone!

This Monday we are fortunate enough to be joined by Andrea Canepari, a former Italian diplomat and current guest professor of International Affairs here at Penn State. Join us in HUB 131 at 8pm on Monday to learn more about Italian culture in Philadelphia and ask Andrea questions about his experiences as a leader in Italian-American affairs. We look forward to seeing you on Monday!

It’s Easter so you know what that means… it’s Pepperoni Bread time!!! Thank you to everyone who came out to help make this delicious dish and thank you to Abba Java for having us!

Thank you to Giuseppe’s Pizzeria on College Avenue for hosting us last night. We were inspired by owner Joe Pistone’s dedication to preserving the art of making pizza, a family tradition dating back three generations. Be sure to stop by Giuseppe’s for the best slice in State College!🍕
