Help Penn State Researchers learn about attention and emotions in children!

10/22/2018

In 2016, the CDC reported that 9.4% of children (ages 2-17) had been diagnosed with ADHD. Could your child be one of them? Our study can help you find answers!

We're looking for children ages 8-12, with and without a history of ADHD or anxiety, to participate in a study at Penn State with their parents. You will be paid $50 per visit and we provide verbal and written feedback on your child's functioning. You can view a complete description of our study and fill out our screening questionnaire using the link below. For any questions, please email or call Marissa Reynolds, our Project Coordinator, at [email protected] or 814-863-0250.

Our Research Team 10/22/2018

Our graduate students assist with lab visits and complete verbal and written feedback reports for parents on their child's performance. They also use aggregate data collected from the study to write graduate theses and academic papers. Additionally, they receive supervised training in diagnosing and treating psychological disorders in children via Penn State's Psychological Clinic.

Our undergraduate students assist with participant recruitment and lab visits. They are also leaders within the Penn State community, as they give their time and energy to THON and other organizations throughout the year.

We're very grateful to have a hard-working and dedicated research team!
