The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Penn State is a membership-based, volunteer-driven organization that offers members of the community —age 50 years and better — the opportunity to learn, explore, and connect with other curious adults. The Outdoor Art SIG recently gathered at Rhoneymeade for a relaxing afternoon of creativity and inspiration. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, members spent the afternoon creating art, enjoying one another's company, and drawing inspiration from the scenic landscape. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, create, and appreciate the outdoors together.

Our OLLI members had an amazing time in "Introduction to Robotics with LEGO® SPIKE™ Kits", a hands-on course that explored robotics in a fun and engaging way. After designing and building their robots, participants put their creations to the test in a friendly "hopper race" challenge—complete with plenty of cheering, laughter, and a little friendly competition!

A big thank you to instructor Nicole Cingolani, who leads the Media Commons, Maker Commons, and the Immersive Experiences Lab for Teaching and Learning with Technology at Penn State. Nicole brought her passion for making and innovation to the course, inspiring participants to experiment, collaborate, and discover the exciting world of robotics.
