We are excited to officially announce Jaguar Journey Days; an in-person event and the final step for orientation!

On August 24th, 25th, and 26th, New Student Programs will be welcoming (back) our Jaguars. Over these three days, we will be giving the resources students will need to succeed, while also giving some much needed fun and excitement in a safe environment, letting students meet their classmates and their campus.

Stay tuned for future details, and we can't wait to see you guys in person.

It's Memorial Day Weekend, and as such we at NSP would like to take a moment to honor the brave people who have served our country. Thank you.

It's Throwback Thursday! This is from the Summer of 2019, where our NSP leaders were getting to know each other through a few icebreakers. This one was a weird type of charades, and it seems no one in the department remembers what the exact rules were, so all we have left of the activity is this pic of one NSP leader looking amused while another is riding an invisible horse with several other people behind him.

We would like to take a moment to share a article that was written about our resident GA; Nigam! He's a pleasure to have on the team, and we're glad to give him as much recognition as possible.

As the semester ends, we want to take a moment to say goodbye and good luck to a person who was instrumental in New Student Programs; Hannah Cave.

Hannah worked tirelessly for Governors State University, welcoming new students to campus through orientation, getting them used to college life, and helping them rise to their potential by helping out with things such as the Emerging Leaders Program. That's not to mention the work she went into with the student workers she managed, helping them grow both personally and professionally.

We wish Hannah all the best, and appreciate all that she has done for not just NSP, but for GSU as a whole.
