Join us in congratulating Elise Mitchell, the College of Health and Human Development's Summer 2026 Student Marshal!

A Penn State Nutritional Sciences graduate, Elise has distinguished herself through undergraduate research in the Stress Psychophysiology Lab and Singh Lab, leadership in the Food Recovery Network at Penn State, and a strong commitment to academic excellence.

After graduation, she'll continue her journey at Penn State as a research coordinator with the Learn to Flourish Design Hub.

Planning a visit to Penn State?

Whether you're joining us for Spend A Summer Day or exploring campus with family, there are plenty of iconic spots to experience beyond your scheduled sessions.

From enjoying a scoop of Berkey Creamery ice cream and strolling through The Arboretum to visiting the We Are Statue, the Nittany Lion Shrine, the Penn State University sign, the Obelisk, and Henderson Mall, these campus landmarks are part of what makes a visit to Happy Valley so memorable.
