“We became close earlier this year when we realized that we live across the street from each other. At first, hanging out seemed convenient and easy but we quickly found ourselves spending portions of each day together. Whether we meet up to do schoolwork, eat dinner together, or watch movies at the end of the night we can always find something to enjoy together. We love spending time together because of how authentic and genuine our friendship feels. We often joke that we are like each others twin, similar in appearance and personality. At a school so big it’s refreshing to find someone you feel like you really belong with. No matter what happens we know we have each other to lean on. DG has given us so many wonderful sisters but this is a friendship we both couldn’t be more grateful for.” 💕🤍

Throughout the next week every conversation was natural, inviting, and I never wanted to leave. I found my forever friends in Delta Gamma and some of my biggest inspirations. “As a freshman coming into PSU, I really was not sure if greek life was right for me. I was unfamiliar with the process and did not know many people who were in it. With my uncertainty and recruitment being virtual, I decided to wait until my sophomore year. When my second year rolled around I had met so many genuine people in greek life, many in DG, and realized how much of a positive impact it can have on your college experience. I decided to take part in recruitment and really had no idea what to expect. It was easily one of the best decisions for my college experience. It made a huge campus feel a whole lot smaller and brought me some of my closest friends. My big and whole DG fam are some of my favorite people, and my DG twin is my best friend who I do everything with. The process of recruitment can be intimidating at first, but I definitely found my home full of genuine girls with Delta Gamma.”

“I went into the recruitment process with an open mind ready to find a sorority that I could be myself in and meet lifelong friends. As soon as I went to dg I knew immediately that this was my forever home. The girls were all so genuine and funny and by the time I left I had already made plans with a girl to go on a Trader Joe’s run together. Dg has taught me so much about friendship and loyalty and I truly feel that the girls in this sorority will support me and uplift me whenever I need them. I have already made the most amazing memories with these girls and I am so grateful and proud to be a dg!!⚓️💗”
