🔹 Every June, we come together to honor the past, celebrate the present, and fight for a more inclusive future.

🔹 Pride Month commemorates the Stonewall Riots of June 28, 1969, when LGBTQ+ individuals at the Stonewall Inn in NYC courageously resisted police brutality and discrimination. That moment sparked a global movement for LGBTQ+ civil rights 🏳️‍🌈

🔹 57 years later, we continue to celebrate Pride as a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come, and how far we still have to go.

🔹 True allyship starts with awareness. By learning about the intersectional identities and lived experiences within the LGBTQ+ community, we create space for everyone to be seen, heard, and valued.

🔹 Memorial Day, originally known as Decoration Day, is a time for our nation to reflect, remember, and pay tribute to those military heroes who gave their lives so we may live ours in liberty.

As part of our commitment to HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, and community health, the brothers of Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity, Inc. will be promoting safe practices all week long.🌊

From April 20th – April 24th, find a brother on campus to receive protection resources and help spread awareness about the importance of staying safe, getting tested, and protecting yourself and your community.🏹

This initiative is about education, prevention, and continuing the conversation around sexual health and HIV/AIDS awareness.
