The Lady Jaguars are BACK on campus and ready to get the season started! 🎳

We kicked off the year a little differently with a Lane Play Clinic, diving into the science behind the lanes and learning about lane surfaces, topography, oil conditioners, and oil pattern graphs. 📚🎳

We were missing a few ladies due to class, but we’re so excited to have these 13 Jaguars on campus, on the lanes, and ready to put in the work this season! 💪🔥

The work starts now. Let’s go, Jaguars! 🐆🧡🖤

🎳 How to Get Recruited at Junior Gold 🎳

📍 Visit Booth #6 at the Trade Show
We’re located directly across from registration!

Coach Melanie will be found at this Booth from 9:00-3:30pm during the Trade Show. Make sure you register for a BIB Number!

Three easy steps:
✅ Pick up a recruiting bib number
✅ Register your bib number
✅ Wear your bib during competition so college coaches know you’re interested in bowling in college

Your bib lets college coaches know you’re actively seeking opportunities to compete at the next level. Don’t miss your chance to get noticed!

🎳Junior Gold Athletes🎳

Will you be at Junior Gold next week? I’m looking forward to meeting future Lady Jaguars!

I’ll be at the Trade Show and attending the practice sessions on Saturday evening at Cedarvale Lanes. While Governors State University won’t have a booth this year, I’ll be located near the area where athletes can pick up their Recruiting Bibs—Booth 6 with NTCA/NCBCA!

📣 Make sure you grab a Recruiting Bib number! It lets college coaches know you’re interested in bowling at the next level.

Interested in learning more about the Governors State University Bowling Program? Fill out my recruiting form so I know to come find you and connect during Junior Gold!

Season Reflection | ITC Sectionals

The 2025–2026 season has officially come to a close.

ITC Sectionals tested us in every possible way — mentally, physically, and emotionally. Over the course of 2 long days and 64 Baker games, this group experienced it all. There were highs that reminded us why we love this sport, and lows that challenged our resilience and belief.

What mattered most was how this team responded. They stayed together. They trusted the process. They kept fighting frame after frame.

To finish the tournament with our four highest sets says everything about the heart of this team. When it would have been easy to fade, they found another level. They climbed. They competed. They showed who they are.

This season was about growth, toughness, and learning how to finish strong. I am incredibly proud of the way these ladies represented our program, supported one another, and continued to battle until the very last shot.

Thank you to our supporters, families, and everyone who followed our journey this season.

The work continues. 🧡🎳
