The Nittany Lion stopped in to say hi to the Williams lab!
Welcome to the page of the life and happenings within the Williams Group
We are a group of analytical and inorganic materials chemists, inspired by the complexity of biological systems to make inorganic nanoscale and supramolecular structures and motivated to design, develop and apply analytical tools to study these.

The Chick Is a Chemist "So what do you do?" seems innocent enough, but I've grown to dread this common question. As a 28-year-old woman working on my PhD in chemistry I can almost mouth their response. "Really? You're a chemist?"
Looking forward to the annual holiday party at Mary Beth Williams' house on Saturday evening!

Sunrise over Happy Valley this morning. Taken off the top of the Chemistry Bldg.
Took tour of the materials characterization lab in the new Millennium Science building. What an advantage to have amazing world class facilities right next to the chemistry building.
Congratulations and good luck to Mary Beth in her new position as Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education!
Join us today for Meng Zhang's seminar on "Cooperativity in Chemical Systems" at 2:30 PM!
