We had a blast at the Region 22 Championship! Among many highlights were Franco becoming the Region 22 Black Belt Grand Champion and Lupita winning two gold medals in her first tournament! Thanks to Grandmaster Strong and a few PSMAG alumni for joining our team photo.

Hi everyone! We would like to congratulate four of our current students in competing at the World Tang Soo Do Region 8 Tournament. We had a lot of fun attending the tournament, especially seeing the talent we saw in during the Demo Competition! Looking forward to competing in the Spring, Region 22 tournament.

On Tuesday, Master Donaldson shared the first photo in recognition of Master Kaye's birthday. In the second photo are the individual portraits of these great leaders who watch over each of our classes. As always, we did our best to make them proud this week.

Hi everyone! It's been a busy semester for all of us, but we are excited to announce our SASE (Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers) x Martial Arts Group Self Defense Seminar.

Hopefully we can start doing more collaborations. If your PennState club would like to collaborate with us, DM our Instagram and we can work something out.

Regular class will run as scheduled, from 7:00-8:30 pm in the IM building.

We were so fortunate to have two PSMAG alums recently join class to share their knowledge and stories. Anthony Guidotti and Stefan Ewing both happened to be in town at the same time. They are great examples of martial artists who have continually grown and evolved their skills.

Hi everyone! This is an important reminder to REGISTER FOR CLASS. Campus recreation officially closes the registration deadline by class time this Tuesday Sept. 9th, so please register before class! The studio fees are $75/semester.

As a reminder, we meet in the IM building (downstairs mat room)
Tuesdays: 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Thursdays: 7:00 8:30 pm

Hi everyone! Welcome to the PSU Martial Arts Group. Thank you all for stopping by our table today. Our first class is tonight in the IM building (downstairs mat room, past the locker rooms) from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm. We host practice every Tuesday and Thursday. This week is our free trial week. Next week begins, starting Sept. 8th starts our paid classes which cost $75/semester (PennState studio rental fees). We ask that you register for both free and paid classes on PennState's campus recreation website at https://pennstatecampusrec.org/.

We train Tang Soo Do through the World Tang Soo Do association. Tang Soo Do is also known as "Korean karate", which blends elements of Taekwondo and Karate. We'll start off class with introductions from our exec board and advisor. Then we'll do a quick warm-up and mostly focus on fundamentals and basics.
