As young women, we stand with and support all victims of sexual assault. Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley said, “We must advocate for a world where survivors are believed, validated, and supported.” We are committed to fighting for safe and welcoming environments free from sexual assault and gender-based violence.

Approximately 1 in 4 undergraduate women experience sexual assault or unwanted sexual contact during their time in college. Only a small fraction of assaults are reported to law enforcement or campus authorities, with estimates suggesting that fewer than 20% to 27% of victims officially report the incident.

Sexual violence impacts everyone in all communities. You do not need to consume every detail to care. We encourage you to take time for yourself. Step away from the screen. Check in and spend time with those you love. Reach out for support.
