Welcome back to a new school year! Our UCity Librarians have been busy welcoming students old and new back to our beautiful libraries. Prior to the start of school our team had a chance to meet and work on curriculum and collection development. We enjoyed a field trip to the Novel Neighbor where we perused newly released books and made a few purchases for our libraries. We are all looking forward to a year filled with books and reading!

It's that time of year! Overdue notices have gone out to all students' families. Please take a moment to search bedrooms, backpacks, cars, grandma's house, etc. and get all library books back to the library. If you have any questions please contact your school librarian directly.

Yesterday our intrepid school librarians spent the morning touring the historic Central Branch of the St. Louis Public Library. We had an excellent private tour guide and the opportunity to learn about the building, the architecture, and the collections. It’s always great to visit other libraries and take inspiration, especially one as beautiful as this.
