The community support received was so amazing for our 2nd Annual SAPD Blue Santa Toy/Blanket Drive that ended with the Truck Takeover Toy/Blanket collection event/meet. We are so humbled how the entire community came together. Special thank you to our partners Biff Buzby's Burgers, Cowboy's Alamo City Harley-Davidson, 4 Wheel Parts - San Antonio, CKO San Antonio, The Emergency Clinic Alamo Heights, The Emergency Clinic By The Pearl, La Quinta San Antonio, Quality Care Automotive, A Garden For Children Child Development Center each helped collect Toys/Blankets on-site the last few weeks. A Garden For Children Child Development Center is thankful to be able to help our community and youth prepare for the upcoming year after experiencing a pandemic.
We have prepared backpacks with many supplies and received donations from " PIC- Pocket Party Supply"

We at A Garden For Children CDC began the weeks filled with dinosaur fun as we stomp into August like a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The children will tango with a Triceratops and boogie with a Brachiosaurus on dinosaur dancing day! Our classes will create dinosaur village, dye dinosaur eggs, learn colors by color matching games, be introduced to different shapes and talk about science facts such as- Some dinosaurs were meat eaters or carnivores,some dinosaurs were plant eaters or herbivores, what makes each dinosaur special, 3 horns,long neck, king of the jungle etc. Today is our dinosaur day! As we have fun with sensory activities, making sand molds, taste hot lava(tomato soup) and other exciting activities! The remainder of the month the children will learn about camping, and nighttime activities! Carolyn Hunter and Staff.
