Calling all health providers within a 15 minute drive to/from Randolph!

Randolph high school currently has eight students who are seniors this year and in the Health Practicum portion of their Future Health Professionals studies.

They are currently working on medical assistant and phlebotomy skills. Many of them will be certified medical assistant and phlebotomy technicians before they graduate this May.
In addition to working in the skills lab on mannequins and then each other, another part of their practicum training is to shadow, observe, and learn various operations of different medical facilities.

The students are all insured by the district, they are BLS certified, and they have OSHA and HIPAA certifications. They would be wearing scrubs and have their school identification badge so they will look and act very professionally. We are looking for a few hours that your facility might be able to provide a learning experience for the students beginning in March and ending in May, on the afternoons of Wednesday through Friday. If shadowing is all you would allow, that would be fine, but as you gain trust in them, they would be allowed to also help you with vital signs or other skills you feel they are competent in doing.

Thank you so much for your careful consideration in this very valuable opportunities! Please reach out to Mrs. Bernal at [email protected] if you are willing to help.
