Jocelyn Child, a proud member of the Burnt River Charter School Class of 2026, has truly made the most of her educational journey. Completing both her junior and senior years virtually, she demonstrated resilience and determination—recovering from two surgeries, exploring her passion for equine therapy, and beginning work with a local business, all while excelling academically. Her dedication and drive have earned her an honors diploma, and she will be graduating a year early.

Jocelyn’s future plans are to complete a certification in PEMF therapy, attend saddle‑building school, and begin an exciting new chapter on the Oregon Coast.
