Well we are starting off the new year running in preschool. We are answering a daily question and counting which answer has more votes, learning how to measure (this week it is counting how many snowballs tall our winter friends are), fishing to see what number fish we caught, playing in “snow” while learning letters, and we are learning about hibernation. We can’t wait to see what else is in store for our preschoolers in January.❄️❤️

We are currently looking for a preschool assistant/latchkey adult who is 18 or older. We are looking to have the start date of January 3rd, 2024. This would be a part time position with regular hours from January until mid March and then it would be a fill in as needed position. In preschool we have had a busy month preparing and performing in our Christmas program. We have also enjoyed some “fun” days and small group activities to match. For Gingerbread Day, our students enjoyed making gumdrop patterns and then eating their work, going on a gingerbread hunt through the school and putting the gingerbread in numerical order, and enjoyed 3 different stories of the Gingerbread Man.
During our daily Bible Time, we are learning about all of the people involved in the birth of Jesus. They are also enjoying unveiling their Nativity advent calendar everyday.
We are beyond blessed by these wonderful children and their families in our program. ❤️

We have been busy in preschool. We have been working hard on developing our fine motor muscles. Preschoolers write daily and participate in small group. Dinosaurs are a loved activity and our children used tweezers to grab them and then sorted and counted their pile of dinosaurs.

We have been busy this month in preschool. We started with our pumpkin sensory bin. Then we read Pumpkin Jack by Will Hubbell and started our own experiment with our class pumpkin “Pickle”. We then explored how to create our names and used navy beans. We can’t wait to see what the rest of October holds.
