What conversations do you wish you would have had?

"Yes, all of the items listed on the left are important, and take a LOT of research — there’s no denying that. But what often gets left out of the conversation are things couples don’t see coming.
You can never anticipate night feedings creating resentment, or your partner feeling like they’re not helpful (creating a routine for them), and mental health surely isn’t brought up nearly as often as it should be.
If I were to create a FAQ for , I’d say the MOST asked question comes from partners, friends, and family — how do I tell someone they’re different and might be depressed/anxious? This delicate conversation would likely be easier to have if you have a plan beforehand.
This list of “what I wish we discussed” isn’t meant to shame in any way (again, everything on both sides is important!), but has been created and curated from feedback we’ve received from moms, from you! We hope that wisdom from moms on the other side of pregnancy helps those going through the journey for the first time, or even the fifth time.
