๐๐ What Does Our PTO Do?
The Community Elementary PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is a group of parents, teachers, staff, and family members who work together to help make our school the best it can be for our students.
๐ฏ Our Purpose
The purpose of the PTO is to support our students, teachers, staff, and school community. We help provide opportunities, resources, and experiences that may not otherwise be possible through the regular school budget.
๐ซ What Does the PTO Do?
Throughout the school year, the PTO works to:
๐ Plan and support school events and family activities
๐ Show appreciation for our teachers and staff
๐ฐ Organize fundraisers that directly benefit our school
๐ Help purchase classroom supplies, educational resources, and other school needs
๐ Support special activities and experiences for our students
๐ค Encourage stronger connections between families, teachers, and our school
๐ Provide opportunities for parents and families to volunteer and get involved
๐ฐ Where Does the Money Go?
Money raised by the PTO goes back into Community Elementary. Fundraising allows us to help with student activities, teacher and classroom needs, school improvements, special events, and other opportunities that benefit our students.
๐ You Are Part of the PTO!
The PTO isn't just a board or a small group of parents. Every family has something valuable to contribute! Being involved doesn't mean you have to attend every meeting or volunteer at every event. You can participate in whatever way works for your familyโattending a meeting, volunteering at an event, sharing ideas, helping with a fundraiser, or simply supporting PTO activities.
Our goal is simple: to work together to make Community Elementary an even better place for our students to learn, grow, and make memories.
When families and schools work together, our Vikings succeed! ๐๐
