Don’t forget our fundraiser is still live!! This is the ONLY fundraiser that your PTO does each year, please help us support our school and create fun events for the students.

Online donations are counted as ‘one item’ for each $20 while cash and check donations using the donation form on turn in day are counted as ‘one item’ for each $10 donation. If you or a loved one are planning to donate we encourage you to do so directly so every penny brought in can be directed for our students!!

Our Annual Fall PTO Fundraiser officially kicks off TOMORROW, September 28th! 🎉 Be sure to check your child’s backpack for their fundraiser packet with all the details!
📅 Fundraiser Begins: September 28th
📅 Final Turn-In Date: October 16th
🏆 We have some EXCITING NEW PRIZES this year, and we can’t wait for our students to see what they can earn! 🎁✨
Every order helps support our PTO and allows us to continue providing fun activities, events, and extras for our students and school throughout the year. 💜💛

📚⚔️ Calling All Vikings! Your Literacy Quest Awaits! ⚔️📚
Join us for Viking Literacy Night on Thursday, October 1st from 5:00–7:00 PM in the Elementary School Cafeteria! 💜💛
Bring the family and come see what our students have been working on! Each grade level will have student work on display, plus we’ll have lots of fun literacy games and activities for everyone to enjoy. 📖🛡️✨
🌭 And once you’ve completed your literacy quest, stick around for hot dogs, popcorn, and water! 🍿
We’re excited for an evening of reading, playing, exploring, and celebrating our amazing students!

Join us tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16th at 3:15 PM in the Community Elementary Library for this month’s PTO meeting!
We have lots to talk about this month, including upcoming fundraisers, school events, and ways we can continue supporting our students, teachers, and school! 📚✨

We are so excited for our first PTO meeting of the year tomorrow! Please note the change in location. We are going to be holding the meeting in the cafeteria. Parents can enter through the cafeteria doors starting at 3:10. Please do not come to the doors prior to avoid interfering with afternoon car riders!

💜💛 What Does Our PTO Do?
The Community Elementary PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is a group of parents, teachers, staff, and family members who work together to help make our school the best it can be for our students.
🎯 Our Purpose
The purpose of the PTO is to support our students, teachers, staff, and school community. We help provide opportunities, resources, and experiences that may not otherwise be possible through the regular school budget.
🏫 What Does the PTO Do?
Throughout the school year, the PTO works to:
🎉 Plan and support school events and family activities
🍎 Show appreciation for our teachers and staff
💰 Organize fundraisers that directly benefit our school
📚 Help purchase classroom supplies, educational resources, and other school needs
💜 Support special activities and experiences for our students
🤝 Encourage stronger connections between families, teachers, and our school
🙋 Provide opportunities for parents and families to volunteer and get involved
💰 Where Does the Money Go?
Money raised by the PTO goes back into Community Elementary. Fundraising allows us to help with student activities, teacher and classroom needs, school improvements, special events, and other opportunities that benefit our students.
💜 You Are Part of the PTO!
The PTO isn't just a board or a small group of parents. Every family has something valuable to contribute! Being involved doesn't mean you have to attend every meeting or volunteer at every event. You can participate in whatever way works for your family—attending a meeting, volunteering at an event, sharing ideas, helping with a fundraiser, or simply supporting PTO activities.
Our goal is simple: to work together to make Community Elementary an even better place for our students to learn, grow, and make memories.
