Sometimes I feel like an imposter.🤥

I am a fitness and nutrition coach that owns a business helping women lose 20+ lbs and get in the best shape of their lives.🤩

So you would assume I have it all figured out...

Nope! 👎🏽

My weight goes up and down all the time. 📈📉

I get frustrated with myself because my clothes don’t fit right. 😡

In fact, Yesterday I bought an expensive suit that everyone said looked great on me at the store and when I tried it on again when I got home (Yes, I do that too…) I hated how it looked. 🙄

I hated how my belly spilled over the side of my pants and how to jacket was super tight.

I hated that I bought a shirt that was too big because I didn’t like how the one that was probably the right size squeezed me. 😣

The truth is that transitioning from my primary focus of being an in-person coach and competitive fitness athlete to my primary focus being building a business means that I have to change my daily routines a bit.

I’ll need to eat less (not a ton, but definitely less), walk more often, etc.

So yes, sometimes I feel like an imposter when I look at myself.

But then I realize that not being perfect and battling the same things my clients battle is what makes me very good at helping my clients through their struggles.

All that said, my goal is to drop some lbs of fat gained over the past few months by doing the EXACT same things I ask of my clients so I can feel good about myself, set an example, and fit awesome in this sweet suit for Michael Ficorilli Stephanie Czulewicz wedding in October.

Here is my awesome dad, who is the handiest man I know and is constantly doing things for other people when he doesn't have to. He also lost 30 lbs and can chase after not just his kids, but his grandkids. Pretty cool to see!

We are our own worst enemy

Sometimes we’ll do ANYTHING to give ourselves an excuse as to why we can’t have the things we truly desire.

We self-sabotage to make ourselves feel better. But really, in the end all we are doing is creating short-term comfort and long term pain.

We use phrases like
“I just don’t have the time”
“How can I EVER (insert thing you definitely can do here)”
“It’s not my fault”
“I can’t do anything about it”

When we use words and phrases like this we begin to BELIEVE that we are incapable of making a change.

And when we BELIEVE we are incapable of making a change, we take no ACTION to overcome our current obstacles.

And obviously, when you give up on overcoming the thing in between you and your desired results, you either stay where you are at or backtrack.

The difference between people who have success and those who don’t is NOT the obstacles they face.

It’s in how they approach solving them.

And solving them starts with your words.

Speak and think carefully!

Struggling to lose weight? ☹️

There is a chance your metabolism is part of the problem.

Feeling like you had a slow metabolism is frustrating... Especially because it's commonly thought that you can't really do anything about it.

That notion couldn't be further from the truth.

Our lifestyle and choice are the reason for our slow metabolism.

One of the things that can reduce it is POOR SLEEP! 💤

I quit my job.

I am leaving my coaching position at Yankee and have opened my own online coaching business.

Yankee has meant a lot to me and I can’t thank them enough for the last 3 years.

To be honest, it’s been scary as 💩.

I had a steady income and got to do something I enjoyed every day.

And I’m not a super risky person…

I look both ways going through green lights and am scared of ladders and heights… just ask Amanda Stanton

So leaving a stable job to go on my own and create something for myself has been a really hard thing for me to do.

But I had a good friend give me this one piece of advice that stuck.

“The thing that holds most people back from their potential is FEAR.”

I decided I am NOT going to let fear control my success.

I am not going to look back 20 years from now and think “What if”….

I see this all the time with my clients too. They have FEAR that they won’t have enough time, they won’t be able to make changes, and they will fail.

And FEAR holds them back from taking action and regaining control of their health.

But what do you really have to lose?

If you put your best effort forth and nothing changes, you’re in the exact same place you were before. That's worst-case scenario.

Best case scenario, you gain more years with your loved ones, avoid chronic disease, enjoy life more, live happier, show up better as a parent and significant other, set a better example, etc etc etc. I could go on forever.

And the only thing that's keeping you from that is FEAR.

Want to finally lose that 20lbs you’ve been struggling to keep off?

When I was starting my weight loss journey, I tried every diet and strategy you could think of.

keto, whole 30, low carb, fasting, HIIT, etc. 🥦🏋🏼‍♀️

You name it, I tried it...

Honestly, most of them helped me lose weight… 😃

But NONE of them helped me keep the weight I lost off for good. 👎🏽

When I flipped from fads to principles I lost 40 lbs and have never looked back.
