AGHS art teachers and students complete Masontown community project for America’s Celebration.

Congratulations to Miss Arissa Myers! Arissa has been selected to represent the Albert Gallatin Area School District at the 2026 Bituminous Coal Queen Pageant! This pageant will be held at the Carmichaels Area School District Campus on August 23, 2026. The Colonials would like to wish Arissa the best of luck!

Last week at AGHS, our 5th and 8th grade students attended a Transition Assembly with speaker Morris Morrison. He shared thoughts on navigating changes and moving forward to the next stage of school. Thank you to everyone who helped make the event possible.

Important Update: Canvas (Instructure) Cybersecurity Incident

Albert Gallatin Area School District is aware of a widespread cybersecurity incident involving Canvas, our learning management system provider. This breach affected over 8,800 schools nationwide and internationally.

A criminal group accessed certain data, including student/parent names, email addresses, and messages sent within Canvas. No passwords, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, or financial information were involved.

Instructure quickly contained the incident and is working with law enforcement. Canvas is currently under maintenance for security updates.

What You Should Do:
Watch for phishing emails pretending to be from the district or Canvas
Report suspicious messages to IT
