LMHS testing week 2! Here we go...

We only have testing this week on Wednesday, April 16th! Students in grade 10 will test and should arrive at regular time.

Students in grades 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 who are NOT testing will be on a 2 hour delay.

1st period will start at 9:28 am. Be sure to be in the building by 9:20 am to get to class on time!

Some kind soul dropped off art work to LMHS that was found on Cleveland Avenue! Unfortunately, it is not from anyone in our building, but we would love to get this back to the talented owner!

We found the name "PG Nix" on one of the pieces. See updated photos below!!

LMHS testing April 8th and 9th! A reminder that only grades 7, 8, and 10 are testing Tuesday and Wednesday this week. We also have a handful of students in AP review, interviews, and STAMP testing. All other students are on a three hour delay. As a reminder, all NON-TESTING students in grades 9, 11, 12 that are not directly involved will report to the gym for the three hour time span. If they have an alternative way to get to school, first period will start at 10:28, so please plan accordingly!

Get your sleep, eat some breakfast and be ready!

Lake Middle High School, now that it is April, state testing is in the air!

Quick points:

** Each student and parent will receive a personalized schedule
prior to the first week of testing.

** If you do not receive a schedule, you are not testing.

** Students need to arrive at the “regular time” on test days.

** Students who are not testing on a particular day will have a
delayed start.

** Buses will run at their normal times each day.

** Students who are not testing but who arrive to school during the
testing period should report to the main gym.

** Students in Career Tech programs attend their CTE programs
each day with the following exceptions:

Hoover and Jackson: No CTE on April 9, 10, 23, 24, and 30
GlenOak: No CTE on April 16, 17, 23, 24
Lake: No CTE on April 9, 16, 23, 30

Lake Middle High School will be on Spring Break starting Monday, March 24th thru Friday, March 28th. We will return to classes on Monday, March 31st. Have a safe and fun break!!

Grab your air horns, signs, bells & Lake Cheer gear to send off our Competition Cheerleaders as they go to Columbus to defend their STATE TITLE!!! 💙⚡️📣

⚡️Saturday: Arrive by 3pm, team will leave at 3:15! (parking lot will be packed due to lake youth 🏀)

⚡️Door 22 is where the team will load the 🚌!

⚡️Line the sidewalks & road!!! Bus will leave parking lot & travel down King Church to roundabout at the Hardware -so line the road!

Looking ahead! Lake Local Schools will be having a district wide delayed start day on, Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Classes at Lake Middle High School will run on a 2 hour delay and 1st period will start at 9:28am. Be sure to mark your calendars, and let your teenagers know they can sleep in, but don't forget to come! We would miss them! 😁
