The infamous Lake blankets from the marketing program are for sale again!! This time, every penny made goes towards offsetting our costs for ICDC. ICDC is what we call “DECA Nationals” and TEN of our marketing students earned a spot this year! That’s a record amount for us, and they are held in Atlanta, Georgia. Because of this, the cost is higher than ever. Please consider buying a blanket to support your marketing students!!

Huge shoutout to the 68 Lake Marketing students who competed at the DECA State competition held in Columbus last week! Out of an incredible field of competitors from all over Ohio, 13 Lake students made it to the final round and 8 are officially ATLANTA BOUND for the international competition this April!

Justin Landes, Olivia Sedmock, Brady Sommers, Devin Moore and Lily Savcic all finished in the top 12 in the state in their categories.

Big congrats to our qualifiers: 🔹 Alex Quior & Carter Herendeen (5th place - Financial Services Team) 🔹 Jillian Sanders (5th place - Quick Serve) 🔹 Taryn King (3rd place - Quick Serve) 🔹 Aubrey Maddock (2nd place - Accounting)

And a special shoutout to 🔹 Adella Coblentz, Bennett Beun, and Allison Shaffer for taking 2nd place in the Community Awareness Project category —the first time a Lake written project has ever placed in the finals!
