Alice’s Blessing Bags for Uniontown, PA

Anyone hiring for the summer? I’m looking for my first job.

Every Saturday, Rita shows up.

She and a small group of volunteers make meals, hand out clothes, and bring things like socks, coats, and hand warmers to people who need them.

Their group might be smaller now, but they still keep going every single week, and that really means a lot.

Today, I got to give Rita a $600 donation to help support everything they do. I know it’s going to go to people who truly need it, and I’m really grateful I could be a part of it.

Walmart has kid’s coats clearanced to $9!!!! It’s a perfect price for Laurel Highlands PAC’s coat drive.

My high school is collecting NEW and GENTLY USED winter coats. If you would like to donate, feel free to reach out to me for pick up.

✨ Holiday Blessing Bag Distribution – Uniontown ✨

Over the holidays, we were able to pass out so much love to the homeless community right here in Uniontown. Every bag was packed with care, kindness, and the hope that someone would feel seen and supported.

Here’s where the blessing bags went:

💜 25 bags to Community Action
💜 22 bags to Rita, who feeds the homeless every Saturday
💜 20 bags to the Salvation Army
💜 20 bags to the Men’s Shelter
💜 20 bags to the Women’s Shelter
💜 30 bags to Nancy, who helps the homeless year-round and has close relationships within the community
💜 30 bags to Dave, who delivered them to the homeless shelter in the woods

✨ Total Blessing Bags Distributed: 167 ✨

💗 I also currently have 20 blessing bags on hand that will be given out throughout the year as needs come up. If I hear of someone who could use one, they’ll be ready.
