The Master of Arts (MA) in Public Relations at Hofstra University is a professional program designed to educate students in a fast-evolving communications field by emphasizing management, research, best practices, writing, and communications tools required within the public relations profession. The goal of the program is for students to become immediately qualified to assume a variety of public relations positions and enhanced leadership roles.

Summer Spotlight Student: Talana Moore✨

I currently work full time as an Executive Office Administrator at Long Island Head Start, a nonprofit organization serving children and families across Long Island. This summer, I’m also participating in the IMPACT Strategies Internship Program with Angela Rye, where I’m gaining exposure to communications, advocacy, and strategic engagement initiatives. Academically, I’m beginning an Independent Study in Entertainment PR & Publicity under Professor Dellilo, focusing on music publicity, artist branding, and entertainment communications. Outside of work and school, I’ve traveled to Hawaii and the Dominican Republic this summer. I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and gain experience in areas I’m passionate about.
