Monroe Daycare Center Monroe Daycare Center is a non-profit organization that opened it's doors in 1976. Over the past 40 The requirements of all staff are as follows: S.T.A.R.S.

Monroe Early Childhood Association, INC is a non-profit organization that opened its doors in 1976 to the community. This need was established for a child care service after a detailed analysis of the community needs for children. Over the past 40 years we have served over 3,600 families, with children ages 6 weeks through 13 years of age. In April 2003 the center was able to open an infant/toddler program for children ages 6 weeks through 3 years of age. Since 2010 the center has had 45% increase in children and still growing. In 2013 the center became rated as a tier II (the only one in Mountain Heart South). The faculty of the center are all high quality professionals in the early education field with a love for all children we serve. Four staff hold Apprentice Child Development Specialists Certificates. registered through the state of WV, and must pass a criminal background check, and carry 18 hours of continuing education in child development and early education each year.
