ABCs matter—but they’re not a shortcut for every NCLEX priority question.

Before choosing an answer, look at the whole situation. What’s happening right now? What’s unexpected? What puts the patient at the greatest risk?

That’s the difference between memorizing a rule and learning to think like a nurse.

Save this for your next practice session, and tell us in the comments: have the ABCs ever tricked you on an NCLEX question?

Quick NCLEX check: do you know what to monitor with heparin therapy?

Before you swipe to the answer, pick A, B, C, or D and think through why. Then tell us in the comments: Did you get it right? What was your thought process?

Don’t just memorize the answer—learn the why behind it. That’s how you build stronger clinical judgment for NCLEX day.
