ECC offers degrees, certificates, credit and non-credit programs to serve the needs of students and the community. ECC offers four transfer degree options: Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Arts in Teaching and Associate of Fine Arts. These programs prepare students for transfer to a multitude of baccalaureate program majors at colleges and universities throughout the U.S. The

College also offers Associate of Applied Science degrees and certificates in more than 30 career and technical fields. Each semester more than 2,000 students enroll in credit classes. In addition to the main campus in Union, ECC also offers classes in Rolla, Washington and online classes. A variety of short-term training options are also available.

Elayna will open the FREE festival with acoustic pop and indie folk music Friday, Aug. 28, at 4:30 p.m. on the ECC quad.

We had the pleasure of hosting a group of Rolla area leaders who represent the Phelps County Community Foundation and the Rolla Regional Economic Council at the Union campus.

The tour included the Learning Center, Nursing, EMS and Respiratory care labs and the Welding and Industrial Engineering Technology labs.

As we look to open the new Rolla location in January 2027 the group saw first hand the capabilities of East Central College.

Three graduates received special recognition last week during the first-ever Missouri Health Professionals Consortium Respiratory Care pinning ceremony at East Central College.

Eden Nelson received the Clinical Excellence Award, Briana Parrott received the Rising Star Award, and Benjamin Gutz received the Outstanding Respiratory Care Award. 🫁

Congratulations to these graduates on their clinical skill, dedication, leadership and academic achievement!

WalletHub evaluated more than 610 two-year colleges nationwide based on cost and financing, education outcomes and career outcomes. ECC ranked first among Missouri’s 12 community colleges. 🎓

Just two weeks from today, we’ll celebrate the start of our 2026-27 concert season at the ECC Music Season Kickoff Festival! 🎶

Join us Friday, Aug. 28, from 4:30-8:30 p.m. on the ECC Union campus quad for a free outdoor concert featuring Elayna Cusano, the Steve Leslie Band, and headliner The Playadors.

Food and drinks will be available. The annual festival also supports Metallica Scholars Initiative scholarships for ECC students in Advanced Manufacturing programs.

Today marked the third and final First Flight New Student Orientation of the Fall 2026 semester! ✈️

Our newest Falcons spent First Flight getting familiar with campus, learning about resources available to help them succeed, connecting with faculty and staff, and preparing for the start of their ECC journey.

Now we're counting down to the first day of fall classes on Aug. 24!

The Missouri Health Professions Consortium Respiratory Care program celebrated its first-ever pinning ceremony Monday at East Central College, recognizing the Class of 2026.

Eight of the nine graduates attended the ceremony, representing ECC, Moberly Area Community College, and State Fair Community College. The pinning marked an important milestone for these students as they prepare to begin their careers in respiratory care.

The ceremony featured guest speaker Lori Hubbard, manager of Respiratory Care Services at Boone Health, along with remarks from ECC President Dr. Jon Bauer, Dean of Health Sciences Dr. Nancy Mitchell, Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Robyn Walter and graduate Aurora Hubbard. Program Director Valerie Norwood and Director of Clinical Education Denise King presented the pins.
