How to Prevent Trauma from Becoming PTSD There is no right way to handle trauma. Each individual moves at their own speed and has their own readiness to confront pain and suffering.

I am checking to see if there is interest in a PHTLS Refresher course at East Central College. We have not offered this in the past. One 8 hour day, students must have completed PHTLS within the past 4 years. Cost to be determined. If interested, email [email protected]. If there is enough interest we can put this together!

Longtime College EMS Board Members Retire from Positions - East Central College Three members of the ECC EMS Advisory Board, with more than 100 years of combined experience in ambulatory services, recently stepped down from their posts.

Today we observe Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance in memory of those lost Sept. 11, 2001.

Great being able to get out and go over helicopter capabilities and safety with the East Central College EMT class at their auto extrication practical. Thank you to Union Fire Protection District and Union Ambulance District for hosting.
