Introducing ✨Flo✨

There is nothing I love more than rehabbing and training Thoroughbreds 😍

Flo is an 8 yo 16.3 OTTB that came to live with me a few weeks ago. She is an anxious girl who has a hard time slowing down and relaxing. She has settled into our routine nicely, been introduced to her new herd and is well on her way to gaining the weight she’s needed!

I’m excited to share her training progress and transformation over the coming weeks!

Welcome to the family Flo 🫶🏻

Summer is officially here! We strive to keep the horses health and well being first. Below is the chart I use to determine safe lesson times and activities.

Please remember I want to see you riding just as much as you do but I’ll always want to see your horse safe first! Stay cool out there!

✨ Give them friends ✨

Turn out your horses and give them friends

Not when they retire from their show career

Not when the season is over

Not when it’s dry, or cooler, or the bugs aren’t as bad

Allow them the gift of loving you deeply and their herd deeper

The best naps happen on Sundays 😴

It’s such a great feeling to walk out of the barn to see half your herd napping together, knowing they feel safe and secure.
