The students from the Artistry contributed their artistic talents to create hand painted items for a Kids helping Kids live donation with a Mediterranean Extravaganza theme to raise funds at the NKYCAC Advocates Annual Grand Gala "Enchanting Isles" 2024.

The students kindness and creativity raised almost $60,000 for The Northern Kentucky Children's Advocacy Center which offers services that respond to the concerns of child abuse.​
We are proud of the students who donated their talent and creativity for the NKYCAC.

IMPORTANT NOTICE!!
In light of the recent Corona Virus updates, I have made the decision to close the studio for 2 weeks. I will reevaluate after that amount of time and we will see if it will be safe to reopen. Your student and our health is my first concern in this matter. We are all fine here, but want to make sure that everyone, including us, stays healthy. Like I said before, I have always been vigilant of keeping the studio clean so not to spread illness.

It is hard to close, both creatively and financially, as I love what I do and will miss seeing my students and all the creativity we share. I hope they will continue to draw, paint or doodle and will share their creations with me. So I hope this helps, I am also concerned over this issue, and hopefully it will go away soon and we can get back to normal. Please let me know if you need more information, I will send out updates as we see how this issue goes.

Be sure to tell your student that I will MISS them and to keep drawing!!

IMPORTANT ART SHOW NEWS!
It is with a very heavy heart that I sadly announce that this years Artistry Art Exhibit is cancelled. I have spoken with the Boone County Library and they have cancelled ALL events across the board starting March 14th through April as a result of the Corona Virus. The Artistry Art Exhibit has never in its history ever been cancelled. I am heartbroken to say the least.
I have asked to reschedule and that is not possible. I will try to exhibit the art on my webpage soon so we can still enjoy the amazing talent. I will post it when I get it together. I will miss the art show this year so very much. Thanks Alison

IMPORTANT NEWS!!!
It’s here! Time to move into the new house and studio. After 36 years in this house, it will be sad to leave, but very exciting to move to the new house!

I have been telling the students all week that it may be necessary to close the studio for a week while we get things moved and set up. I had hoped to keep the lessons going, but the move is going to be a bigger job than we expected.

So I’m sorry about the late notice, but I will have to close for the week of August 8th – 12th.

I will resume art lessons on August 15th in the amazing new studio! Hopefully we will be all set up, the studio is the first thing we are moving.

I’m sorry for the interruption, but after assessing the amount of work involved, and my age, it’s probably better this way.

If there are any changes in plans, I will be sure to let everyone know. Thank you all for your patience, support, and especially your wonderful students who have been a blessing to me through this whole process. I know we all look forward to a new Artistry home!
