Union County Historical Society

Union County Historical Society Preserving and displaying the history of Union County, South Carolina. Admission is FREE! The museum is open the first Saturday of each month.

Union County Historical Society has assembled a collection of artifacts and uses a museum in downtown Union to display these items. We also have collected genealogical and historic data records in a research room for public use. The Cross Keys House and grounds, 7 miles west of Union on Highway 49, is a historic brick antebellum house also owned by the society and consists also of the barn, carria

ge shed, and the recently added log house, tool shed, and blacksmith shop. The Cross Keys House is open the first and third Saturday beginning the first of April through November.
