This week's featured alum is William E. Greenlee III!

While attending ECC, William studied graphic design, art, photography, typography, and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. He earned a certificate in graphic design from East Central College in 2005. 💻 A program with a history! ECC no longer offers this certificate today. William went on to graduate from ITT Tech in Arnold, MO with an Associate Degree in Multimedia and a Bachelor Degree in Game Design.

William now works at The Children's Factory. His hobbies are video games, chess, guitar, painting, classic cars, old computers, and books. His favorite restuarant is China King, and he enjoys staying home on the weekends. When he attended ECC he spent time playing pool and walking the trail. He took photography classes and learned how to work with old cameras with manual focus. They also learned how to develop film! 📸 He recalls taking many classes where he learned to create and edit digital images.

We're proud to be part of William's story!

We love hearing where life takes our alumni! Today, we’re highlighting Becky Grace, Class of 2018.

Becky earned an Associate of Science degree from ECC before transferring to Mizzou to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. She fulfilled that dream and graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree this past May! Upon graduation, she moved back to the area to be closer to family. She currently works at Advantage Veterinary Center, where she truly enjoys the work she does. Outside of work, she and her partner stay busy caring for their five pets and enjoying their many hobbies. Her interests include reading, gaming (including both PC and board games), cooking, gardening, watching movies, and creating stained glass.

At ECC, Becky shared she was able to make connections with people that she's still friend with today. Reflecting on her time at ECC her favorite class was statistics with Dean Boehmer. She also has many memories of her biology courses with Dr. Parvi, with one of her favorites being her class going out for ice cream after a test! Chemistry with Dr. Monzyk was another favorite and she remembers always being amazed by his endless number of ties (his shiny fish tie being her favorite!).

Becky is a wonderful example of how dreams can become reality through hard work and dedication Congratulations, Becky, on all you’ve accomplished! We wish you continued success and a long, fulfilling career ahead! 🎉
